About

Ebony Ford MBACP

I am a Person-Centred counsellor who has undergone specialist training in working with children and young people (3-25 years). I also have a First Class honours degree in psychology from The University of Bristol and have an interest in developmental neuropsychology. I am passionate about supporting children and young people with their mental health. By helping children and young people process difficult feelings and adverse experiences I have both seen and heard clients report of an improvement in their emotional wellbeing and resilience to challenges life can hold.

Along with my private practice, I work for a charity providing counselling services in schools which I find extremely rewarding.

I am fully insured and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP 384928) committed to upholding their rigorous ethical standards.
My safeguarding training is updated regularly in line with industry recommendations. I am also paediatric and adult first aid trained and I am registered with the DBS update service.
